Liliane's Life
For most of our lives Liliane and I have been strangers. We’ve also been neighbours. Fate brought us together and now we are friends, collaborators, outsiders united. More than that, we are mirror images, windows to each other’s fractured pasts.
Apart, we’ve shared so much, yet lost even more.
Together we make sense of it all. We shine a light forward. We seek to understand.
Not Tuesday
Each Tuesday This slug
In my
Heart
That was
Your dying
Your leaving
Me alone,
Aged eleven,
All alone
Without you
No explanation Just gone. Bundled clumsily To hospital
To death
To that
Ugly
Hateful grave
O God,
Why has Daddy Forsaken me?
